The Resource of the Month
Hello Grace Family! It's time for our next Resource of the Month! In December, you may have received a copy of the Christmas devotional booklet we handed out at Grace. I heard from a few of you that this booklet encouraged you in your walk with Jesus, preparing you to celebrate Christmas. One person told me it was different than any other Advent devotional she had read, and that it was definitely a keeper. Well, that Christmas booklet is comprised of exerpts from a new 365-day devotional book from Paul David Tripp called Everyday Gospel: A Daily Devotional Connecting Scripture to All of Life. This is our next Resource of the Month. |

Everyday Gospel
As my friend pointed out, Everyday Gospel is different from most devotionals. It follows a year-long Bible reading plan, showing how all of scripture points to the Gospel, and applying God's truth in our everyday lives. According to Crossway, "In the Everyday Gospel devotional, Paul David Tripp provides a roadmap for readers who want to spend a full year in God’s word . . . offering 365 fresh, engaging entries that follow an annual Bible reading plan from Genesis through Revelation. Brief and practical, these reflections connect the transforming power of Scripture to all you will experience in your everyday Christian life." Personally, I have found the daily reflections to be very encouraging. They are short, but not shallow. They have made me want to know, love, worship, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ more and more each day. If you want to deepen your devotional life, jumpstart your Bible reading, or simply reflect on the goodness of God, this book will encourage you. If you not sure about this because it's after January 1, don't worry! Simply jump in and find encouragement each day you pick it up.
